A fine triple fusee quarter repeating bracket clock.  The brass dial with chapter ring and spandrels has subsidiary strike/silent to the arch.  The fully engraved backplate is outstanding.  The 8 day movement strikes each hour in a bell with pull quarter repeat on a carillon of 10 bells.

The ebony on fruitwood case with inverted bell top has reeded columns to the front and fine brass fretwork to each side of the arch.  There are glass panels and frets to the case side.

The tunes are played each hour on a carillon of 10 bells and striking each hour on a single bell.

The back plate is fully engraved to a very high standard.  The verge movement has pull repeat cords for music and hour strike.

The inverted bell top case of ebony is finely proportioned and has brass pillars, feet and inlay with 4 finials to the hood and frets to each side to release the sound of the music.

 A fine quarter chiming bracket clock by Winterhalder & Hoffmeir, Playing each quarter hour on four gongs and each hour on a single gong.

The brass silvered dial has subsidiary dials for chime/silent and rise & fall regulation to the arch. 

The carved case is quite outstanding.
