Penrith clockmaker and one of the top in the county. The movement of this clock is superb, having a brass dial with
subsidiary date calendar and striking each hour on a large bell.
The oak case is of fine proportions and
hand carved to a very high standard with fretwork to to the hood.

The oak case is of outstanding quality and unusual style with
carving to the hood which has reeded pillars and herringbone marquetry to the
door frame.
The door has an attractive starburst inlay, while the base has
five pear shaped designs also inlaid.
