An outstanding Lunar and Tidal clock with fine engraved brass dial by Thomas Whipp of Rochdale with Sailing Ship.
Subsidiary date and seconds dials with the age and phases of the Moon to the arch and rare universal Tidal Calendar.
The outstanding mahogany case has satinwood inlay to the base and reeded pillars to the trunk.

A very fine longcase clock with brass dial and rare automaton fox hunt to the subsidiary seconds dial - the only one we have ever seen!

The moonwork is also a unique feature of this clock with a complete hunting scene throughout the lunar month.
